H2MOF was incorporated in 2021 by Nobel Laureate, Prof. Sir James Fraser Stoddart, Prof. Omar Yaghi, and Dr. Samer Taha to overcome one of the biggest challenges of the energy transition: safe and efficient hydrogen storage. Capitalizing on decades of research and scientific advancements in the fields of reticular chemistry and artificial molecular machinery, H2MOF designs and develops – with atomic precision – durable and efficient solid-state hydrogen storage solutions that operate at low pressure and ambient temperatures, thereby enabling a wider adoption of hydrogen across applications and sectors.
